Image Style

Addovation – Image Guidelines

At Addovation, the images we use should reflect who we are: a Nordic company built on long-term collaboration, trust, and innovation.

Our visual style should align with our tone of voice — knowledgeable, approachable, and solution-oriented — while communicating a sense of professionalism and warmth.

Purpose of Our Imagery

Our imagery plays a key role in how we communicate our brand — both externally and internally. Whether used in presentations, on our website, or in recruitment, the images should express a workplace culture rooted in Nordic values: openness, equality, and mutual respect.

We want to showcase a sense of teamwork, inclusivity, and forward-thinking professionalism, where people feel empowered to grow and succeed together.

What to Look For

  • Use images that feel real and relatable, with people actively working together, engaging, and collaborating
  • Show a sense of joy, cooperation, and shared purpose
  • When possible, include Addovation employees and real locations — either office environments or urban settings relevant to our presence in cities like Drammen, Oslo, Jönköping, or Gothenburg
  • Choose images that reflect a calm, Nordic aesthetic — clean, natural light, soft tones, and minimal distractions
  • If using stock photography, always select high-quality images
  • Favor photos with a sense of depth (e.g., a blurred foreground with people in the background) for a more natural and engaging look
  • Avoid overly specific scenes — it’s better to use a neutral image of people that supports the tone rather than one that draws attention away from the message

The Impression We Leave

Through our imagery, we aim to be seen as both a trusted Nordic expert and a dependable, collaborative partner. For current and future employees, our visuals should also express warmth, openness, and the opportunity for growth and learning within a supportive community.

When selecting images for our company profile, it’s important to maintain a consistent, credible brand expression

What to Avoid

To keep our brand experience consistent and credible, avoid images that:

  • Look overly staged, forced, or too “stocky”
  • Feature abstract tech graphics (glowing circuits, holograms, digital overlays, etc.)
  • Feel cold, impersonal, or too futuristic
  • Are low resolution, poorly lit, or heavily edited
  • Show settings or people that are not relevant or recognizable in a Nordic context
  • Are concept-driven or try to be visually clever — always prioritize clarity and authenticity
  • Feel visually cluttered — keep it simple, clean, and aligned with our design style
